These were the comfort enchiladas I needed. The Enchilada Santa Fe really hit the spot, and they had a bit of a kick...I'd say medium spice but also I'm from the northeast. Spicy enough to be fun. I've been ordering from different Mexican restaurants looking for that classic plate of rice and beans and a little bit of lettuce for crunch, and then the simple but perfect cheese enchiladas barely visible under a sea of red sauce and cheese. You'd think this wouldn't be so hard to find but other places so frequently give me meat enchiladas when I ask for cheese (I'm a vegetarian), or it's too dry with not enough sauce/cheese "

"I feel like I might've accidentally stumbled onto a social experiment or something? This food is genuinely WAY too high quality for what I paid. I wanted to buy me and my roommate something nice because it's been a hard month for us. I saw a place where chicken tikka masala clearly was NOT the focus, and got really excited! The descriptions and photos were the definition of perfection. The scope of the menu, perfectly focused. The prices? Only slightly above average for astronomically higher quality food. The Spicy Jalapeño Vegetable Pakora - You don't know you want this yet but trust me, if it's between this and your comfort naan, try their Pakora. They're genuinely outstanding. I tried this on a whimsy, lured in by curiosity and a BOGO coupon. It's crispy, it's chewy, and flaky on the outside, but has enough elasticity to keep together. Its decadent, textural perfection cannot be overstated.
The Lamb Keema Mutter - I got this for me, first time trying this dish. Now I really dig peas, and lamb is really good when done right. So this looked like it was going to be a great choice. What I got was one of the most delicious entrees I've had in my life. The kind you genuinely have an experience about, where it's above all comparisons in a league with its own, the best of all things you've had in your life. I don't feel like I deserved to eat such a fine dish.
Hadiwala Chicken Biryani - I got this for roomie. She loved it, particularly liked the flavors of the rice more than the chicken. I sampled some, and the chicken was quite good in my opinion. The Biryani is the definition of flavor town, and this one is the best I've had, of anywhere I've tried.
Butter Naan - Roomie also said it was the best naan she's had, too.
Garlic Chilly Naan - This was the only thing I didn't thoroughly enjoy. Probably would have been fine if I didn't order it remote. The peppers had a lot of moisture in them, and it steamed them inside the foil to the point the naan was practically soggy, and falling all apart. Any texture that was present got steamed out, and softened. I might dry it out and cook it with eggs tomorrow morning"
