This is my first time trying Caribbean Jerk in a veryyy long time. No expert here at all. All I know is this is phenomenal. A new restaurant in Rome to die for as a Rome native. Portion size? Way bigger than you think. That's a MIGHTY mound of Jerk Chicken, the beans and rice, idk how they get so much under still. The flavor is really just super spectacular. The food is hot and super fresh. My cats were trying to eat me for it.
The Sweet Plantain's I know as maduros. Hot, sweet, gooey, chewy, and very crispy on the edges, like my aunt made them.
I ordered the mac and cheese and they were sold out of it, they contacted me for replacement of my food! Didn't cancel or send nothing! Mad props for that! They were persistent too. At least on a Wednesday afternoon.
The price was a bit much for me to swallow per plate, but it's truly worth it for a good healthy bite of food. One plate can easily feed at least maybe one adult and 2 small children if you're on a dime."

I was expecting the $24 big Great Steak Sandwich to come on something like a 12" hoagie roll, but it is in fact the smallest steak sandwich you can imagine for $24. HOWEVER. It's so delicious it's worth every penny. The tenderness of the steak and flavor profile is so robust with the onions and beer cheese that it's $24 of savory perfection. the Bird Bites ATW are more like saucey boneless wings and I'd recommend you go for regular bird bites because they're so crunchy and stay juicy and seasoned beyond your wildest dreams.

"This is my "go to" absolute favorite combo dish from this restaurant let alone my favorite type of food among any other in the area.
The lamb is always tender/juicy and the masala sauce is always consistent with a mixture of great flavors.
I place it on top of the rice and then I actually dump the mango lassi drink on the side and perfectly combine each different taste on the bite of a fork.
The mango really tones down the spiciness (if need be) and adds an entirely new edge to the dish altogether. (You can get the lamb tikka misala in mild too)
I do not order this dish without the Mango Lassi EVER.
