"ALL but the Caesar salad was truly INEDIBLE. The first meal I attempted was the burger and it was just disgusting. Very dry and over-cooked - visibly burnt actually. But the worst part is that it didn't even taste like beef. Or MEAT! The taste of it was weird and gross, and unplaceable. I was really thinking it was fake. I really think it was. Whatever it was, it wasn't right, or real. Side of brocolli - watery mushy grossness. 2nd meal - Steak dinner - finally! Or so I thought. Could not eat ANY of the "dinner". Steak very small, coloring was off and looked old. It was shriveled up and beyond over-cooked. Wouldn't be able to cut it or even tear it apart if you wanted to. This was all very obvious at first glance even with the supposed mushrooms on top, which were very tiny, shriveled, charred black things. Had to taste one out of curiosity and I cannot describe them either. Weird taste and nothing like a mushroom or garlic! The brocolli side, of course, was same waaay over-cooked, watery, mushy mess. I wouldn't even attempt the "mashed potatoes", or rather, Ball of Starch with Wax shell". Yes, weird again. The brownie- well is it? Never saw such a bizarrely tiny piece of dessert. And, of course, it's hard as a rock.
I'm sorry this is so lengthy, but I really can't have this happening to me all of the time now, as it seems to be (not just Doordash orders). I am no longer able to work, nor cook my own meals anymore so I HAVE to rely on my meals elsewhere. And it is not cheap. And some people have limited incomes and can't even eat the food that they paid for. That's messed up. This "food" is soo bad and the fact that it's so visually obvious, I can't comprehend how it gets past multiple sets of eyes, is it has to be on purpose? The people doing this, whether deliberately or not, need to start being held accountable, whether it is being done deliberately or negligence.
THE END (lol). Could you possibly let me know what DoorDash does with this type of complaint? I hope the restaurant gets notified and they know exactly who was working when poison like this gets sent out. THANK YOU!! "

"I know we are living through a time of inflation, but the changes to price/portion size at this LaScala location are a little ridiculous. Tonight I ordered a Caprese salad, Rigatoni Vodka, Cheesesteak Pizza, and Lemoncello Limoncello Cake.
The Caprese salad was fine. When I opened the Rigatoni Vodka you could actually see through to the bottom of the container. There was very little sauce, no pancetta, and the portion looked to be almost half the size it was in the past. When I tasted the pasta, the little sauce I had on it was very much lacking in flavor. Almost like they increased the amount of pasta water they added to the dish.
The pizza was also smaller than it had previously been. It was maybe only slightly larger than what would be considered a personal pizza at other restaurants. For the prices being paid, this meal just didn't seem to be worth it. This used to be one of my go-to locations for ordering dinner in a pinch, but it appears that will need to change. "
