The meat was delicious, especially the brisket. The sides were very small, but the little we had was good.

I had not ordered the brisket sandwich in months. The previous times it was great. This was horrible. First off, the size was tiny ... about 4" x 2.75". Then, I opened the sandwich and saw all the fat, which I trimed off (shown in photo), leaving little brisket.
The taste is bad too. Definitely not the same as it used to be. $18? Ridiculous!

The flavors where just not what I was looking for. The mac and cheese was okay, the corn bread didn't taste like corn bread at all. The meat was juicy I will say that much. how ever no bbq on my tri tip. They provided that on the side in a 4 or 2 oz container. I also paid an extra $3 for a baked potato. The baked potato size was big, however the sour cream, and chives mostly ended up on the outside of the potato. No utensils but I did get condiments like butter, honey and a mint. Unfortunately the price didn't meet the flavors. Im willing to pay for good flavors. In this case it failed.

Terrible sides. Cornbread was thin and burnt. Beans were heavily over-seasoned, way too much cumin. Brisket and ribs were good but portions are on the small side.

No, I'm sorry. The food tasted good, but this is not $28 worth of a portion. The two pork ribs were large, but mostly bone. The tritip tasted good, but too many bits chewy, and again, to emphasize, the undersized portion for $28. Not the Aptos St BBQ just 5 years ago.
