Never thought Rochester had a shrimp and grits spot until I came across this place. Even if there were other places, I would never get it from anywhere else. I love this place so much. The grits to shrimp ratio is perfect. Both are cooked perfectly and it tastes so fresh. I highly recommend this place

Smoothies are ALWAYS TOP TIER. Portions are always FILLING. I've never not once ordered something that wasn't fresh- my Classic Breakfast Sandwich ALWAYS comes hot & my Croissants are always toasted PERFECTLY! With just the right amount of butter & cream cheese lol. I ordered this yesterday and my mouth is watering just thinking about it again haha the one & only thing I don't like about this restaurant is that they're NOT OPEN RIGHT NOW LOL. & the owners, Mei & her husband are always so kind and helpful when I come in, or when I call and order/ on doordash. Thank you 1872 for being one of THE BEST restaurants in roc. Much appreciated

Well is it the worst thing in the world ? No lol but everything could be cooked more the grits are not completely done just watery and the shrimp is just done the flavor is okay but just sitting on top of everything. The toast is not buttered and comes with no butter or jelly.
