This was surprisingly good food.
The Kara Roll was a little bland at first. Then the punch of the spicy tuna caught up.
The Jo Jo Sushi entree was delightful - a mix of nigiri and a roll.
I chose the Yellowtail with Scallion roll. And out of my whole dinner, that was my fave.
The nigiri selection was good - from sake to hamachi to ebi - all good! I liked it better with a hint of shoyu sauce and some wasabi.
It's all good.
The salad is small for $4, but it's fine. The salad dressing has a little garlic kick to it, which I like.
The Dash was delayed and it took over an hour to get to me, but it was a good meal overall.

While I loved the variety of the sushi, with the ikura and even the torched cuts, these were absolutely tiny. Probably the tiniest pieces of sushi I've seen. The sushi rice was good, but was waaaay too little so the ratios were off. If they get this ratio right, could be much better. Fish quality could be better.

The size of sushi/fish are on the small side (def smaller than it looks in the photo) but the quality is very good and it comes with pieces not usually found in a sushi set. Especially liked the Ikura (salted salmon roe) that came in a little plastic container so it was like a mini don buri rather than a traditional sushi piece.

Literally the best sushi delivery I've ever had. I'll even go as far as to say it's better than Blue Ribbon. Don't think twice. Order now. It's all so fresh; the sushi rice is deliciously seasoned and perfectly cooked. The miso soup has an element of umami I haven't even enjoyed from Nobu - not to mention the soy cubes in the soup are simply gastronomic. Can you tell I was pleased? I could go on, but I'll spare you. Anymore time reading this is more time delayed between you and a delicious meal - which in this case, would be a serious error.

The Tako Jo is unusual and super fresh. One of the best delivery deals in town. Everything is good here and the variety surpasses typical NYC sushi restaurants
