• 6 days agoIt pains me to write this review. I used to love pennypackers. I can't believe how far downhill they've gone. The chicken was so dry I almost choked. The brussel sprouts were a disaster. I have no idea what they were thinking. I love brussels, too. These were about the worst version I have ever tasted. Then the mac n cheese was completely flavorless. It desperately, desperately needed salt and pepper. Overall an extremely disappointing meal. When they had the original location in magoun square, Somerville this place was phenomenal. I would go out of my way to eat there. What I had today was almost inedible. I'm shocked and saddened to be leaving this review but it is what it is. Would not order again.

• 3/4/25Food was great, but I believe there's an issue with the salad pricing, and DoorDash customer service wasn’t willing to help (they say the prices are set by the store).
On Pennypacker’s official website, a salad is listed as $7.95 for a small and $12.95 for a large, but on DoorDash, it starts at $14.25 and then adds $7.95 for a small and $12.95 for a large—bringing a small salad with no protein to $22.20. I really think this is a mistake or a bug, but no one has been able to resolve it.
