We ordered Lamb Biryani which was tender, the tasty Scottish Salmon Tandoori and the cauliflower and peas dish. All was delicious. I can always count on high quality food from Rasika.

Lamb Galouti was very good, reminded me of some of the best Galouti kebabs I've had in India. However, the Lamb Biryani was not nearly as good. The Lamb in the Biryani was cooked well, could've been made more juicy and tender, but the rice was too bland, lacked fragrance and Flavor. The flavor of the Lamb and the Biryani rice didnt complement each other. It all came together with the raita but the Biryani on its own was average at best.

Restaurant Review: Disappointing Naan and Mediocre Palak Chat
During a recent visit to Washington dc, I decided to try Raskika. I ordered Paneer Musallam , Basmati Rice , Naan, and Palak Chaat. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The naan I received was incredibly tiny, measuring only about 2 inches in diameter. Not only was the portion size disappointing, but the texture was equally underwhelming. The naan was chewy, almost resembling rubber. It lacked the soft and fluffy consistency that I had come to expect from this traditional Indian bread.
Moving on to the palak chat, it was presented as deep-fried spinach with an excessive amount of oil in the container. The dish was served with two kinds of sauce, but unfortunately, they failed to salvage the overall taste. The combination of the oily spinach and the heavy-handed application of the sauces (around 1 oz each) made the dish feel greasy and overwhelming. With each bite, I couldn't help but feel the excessive oil coating my palate, detracting from any potential enjoyment.
To be fair, the flavors of the sauces themselves were decent, but the heavy-handed application made it difficult to appreciate them fully. The excessive amount of oil made the palak chat feel heavy and unappetizing.
Overall, my experience with the naan and palak chat at this restaurant was disappointing. The tiny, chewy naan and the overly oily palak chat left much to be desired in terms of taste and quality. I hope that the restaurant takes note of these shortcomings and works towards improving the texture and portion size of their naan while finding a better balance with the oil in their palak chat.
over hyped. good for pictures only.

The Butternutsquash Kootu was very flavorful and had the perfect amount of spice. The only downside was the cost of 1 Roti flatbread was $5 which is crazy to me.

Ordering the Duck Makhani is the best thing you will order after the Chicken Tikka Masala. Guaranteed. Those two will always be my go-to orders ever since I discovered the duck while dining at dinner. The sauce is rich and divine and you will never want it to end.
