One of the best restaurants in Chicago. Two of us had the Dover Sole - the best in the city. Another had the perch, also delicious. Their burger is awesome as well. Everything is consistently great and they honor requests as well.

We had 2 Lake Perch dinners that were very tasteful, especially with the coating of Panko crumbs. My husband was disappointed there were only 3 pieces in an order and I agree there could've been one more for a $35 entree. Tried the new corned beef appetizer that was with on grilled marbled rye and offers a spicy brown mustard on the side. Very good. They honored our request for a bread basket. Very good dinner from one of my top choice restaurants!

It pains me to write this review cuz RL has alway been one of our favorites, consistent in high quality, etc. Tonight my husband and I both ordered the LakePerch. We each received 3 little perch that were kind of in a ball. My husband's were actually black on the bottom, but from skin and not burnt. For $35 apiece there are a lot of other restaurants that offers better quality and a filling portion. My husband laughed at it and said they should've posted something telling people the Chef had the night off. But I'll still be back for the Dover Sole and other favorites.

We enjoyed another fantastic meal from RL. The perch is not only the best, but it has the most awesome tartar sauce. The Chicken Milanese was very moist and tasty. My daughter also enjoyed the Lobster Bisque, but did say that she personally would've enjoyed a taste of sherry in it.
