Saffron Mediterranean Grill is hands down some of the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had and I’ve had plenty! We tried the lamb and chicken kabobs, and they were absolutely out of this world. The proteins were cooked to perfection- juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. The rice was fluffy and seasoned beautifully, and the salad was topped with rich spices that created a flavor explosion in every bite. And the hummus? Simply amazing! Creamy, smooth, and perfectly balanced.
This was easily one of the best meals I’ve had in Long Beach. On top of the incredible food, it’s family-owned, which makes supporting them even more meaningful. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and try it- you will not be disappointed!

For the cost flavor was lacking in all areas. French fries the simple item was barely cooked and just soggy. Cost wise this was not worth the money to spend. Shorba soup for 10$ is a bit extreme as comes in a small foam cup and lacked in flavor . I was hoping for the best and sad this came up lacking .

Gyros only had 2 very thin slices of meat, no options for sauces (so very dry) and the falafel was burnt. $70 for that!

Overcooked lamb chops and unflavored hummus . The lamb that came with the hummus could have been carne asada. Much more flavorful Mediterranean restaurants in the area.
