• 3/14/25Once again, I had delicious sushi- the Pete's Sake Roll and Tuna Avocado Roll were outstanding! But not gonna lie... I'm sad that the Tuna / Maguro is now whoefully different than the first time I ordered it (and posted a picture) of each piece of Maguro tied in a beautiful delicious knot.The flavor and quality is still great, but each piece is way smaller..

This was my first time trying it, and I was blown away!
I ordered the combo of 2 -2 Specialty Rolls + 1 Traditional Roll. I had no idea that also meant I'd get Edamame and Miso Salad!!
So I also ordered 2 -Tuna / Maguro - which were a little pricy at $5.25 each but I was amazed when they arrived - best Maguro ever- and love how it was presente !!!

We ordered them for a simple date night at home because we are just 2 old farts in our 30s. And we absolutely loved our sashimi and roll! Everything was so fresh and clean and delicious!!! Will order again soon!!!

• 1/30/25Decided to get takeout from this restaurant on a whim and got their Kaisen Don lunch special. What a great find! The assortment of fish is super fresh and I appreciate how well packed the food was. Sushi and sashimi are not going to be cheap anywhere in DC but I think the price is fair for what you get (includes a miso soup + salad). Will definitely be back to try more of their lunch specials!
