• 3/29/23Best line cooks in the city. Pescatarian here so I get the fish - perfectly cooked lightly crispy skin on oily generous portion of salmon. Not a dried out tiny piece like other spots. Reminds me of great nyc spots.

• 3/26/23My husband loved his meal & the portion given was huge- enough to last him 3 servings. I ordered the Moussaka & to date, I can honestly say- Best Moussaka I've ever had. Kudos to this restaurant for doing an incredible job!

• 5/2/25The Chicken was flavorful and juicy. The whole platter was a great combo. The Medium Hawaiian pizza was pretty good. Nice and crispy. But too thick of a crust imo. Reminded me of Domino's Handmade Pan Pizza tbh. (This is not a bad thing)
Tzatziki and Pita bread always are amazing.

• 4/8/23We've orderd from this place twice, and each time has been exceptionally consistent, delicious, and highly recommended. I last ordered the trout. I was highly skeptical considering every single time I've ordered fish- it has been dry. But not from Maria's Taverna. My fish was charbroiled to perfection... moist... and would you believe- still hot upon delivery. I was also given a plethora of rice that lasted me 3 meals, along with the most yummy potatoes. This place is a gem and has certainly not disappointed. Since discovering Maria's Taverna, they've become one of our new favorite restaurants in Vancouver. Give it a try. You won't regret it.
