They're the only place I know that makes Shrimp Japanese Pancake (Okonomiyaki), and they knock it out of the park every single time. Easily one of my favorite dishes from anywhere ever.
Their Shrimp & Vegetable Tempura is light and airy, and the dipping sauce is delicious!
Lastly, the Eel Avocado Hand Roll is a perfect example of simple, yet perfect. The meat melts in your mouth, and the avocado portioning was on point.

I combined the cup of miso soup with the salmon miso bowl because, honestly, I really wanted more of that miso broth.
I woke up feeling super sick today, and there’s just something about a warm bowl of miso soup that feels like medicine for both the tummy and the soul.
And look at this cute little mushroom! It immediately reminded me of that SpongeBob episode with the jellyfishing.
My stomach had been completely empty because I’d been sick all day, so I needed something warm, comforting, easy to eat, and easy to digest. This was such an excellent choice for this moment in my life. Flavorful, comforting, and exactly what I needed.
I’ll definitely be visiting KOI Japanese Cuisine in person once I’m all better. For now, this was the perfect little comfort meal. 🥹🍜

nevee thought i could have great sushi at a decent price so far inland Koi Japanese Cuisine proved me wrong Salmon Sashimi ive also had the tuna very good

Chicken katsu was some of the best I've had. Ordered togo but will come back for dine in! Very nice on the inside and staff was friendly. Glad it is in the neighborhood!
