• 9/9/21This is the best Indian food in the East Bay since 1996, was ranked #9 Indian restaurant in the US a few years ago. Lines used to wrap around the corner in the 90s & 00s until the financial depression. Forget the Americanized trendy junk full of cream and oil, this place is authentic Indian.

• 8/25/24The Naan is very good. The rest of the food is not worth the price.... you get a measly portion of the main along with a small portion of daal and a huge portion of plain rice and and some plain salad leaves. Rogan Josh meatballs only 2 medium sized HARD as rocks meatballs - NOT worth the price. Waste of money can't eat them. The biryani arrived with the yogurt spilled over half the biryani....it looks like the yogurt has spoiled and tasted sour. Had to eat around the rice that was doused in yogurt.
Their food is usually good the problem is mostly the packaging and maybe a bad day with the meatballs. Please improve your packaging and portion sizes.

• 5/29/25This was not chicken tikka masala the Chicken Tikka Masala was chicken was almost raw it was very watery and bland very disappointing a waste of money the Nan was very thick the onlygood thing was the samosa ill stick with mehak the best chicken tikka masala

• 1/21/25I would've liked to give 4.5 stars, but there is no provision for doing that. The Bhurji Mattar Paneer was freshly prepared, piping hot and delicious; although my salad was missing!
Plain Paratha was also very, very good.....paper thin and roundly cooked; except there was a faint smell that one associates with the napkin the bread is wrapped in. Otherwise it was delectable!
I opened the package and finished the paratha off just standing there at the desk!!
Their tea has never disappointed, but tonight it did! Horrid tea bag or whatever kind of tea it was, it didn't come close to the ginger & cardamom tea I'm used to getting from them. Do better.

• 2/2/25Great portions, priced fair, flavor great. the breads were all generous sizes. maybe my least favorite item was the yogurt Raita, it was quite runny & had a but of sourness I wasn't crazy about. maybe that was how it was supposed to be, it was the only thing i didnt finish.
