Oh was this a good cheeseburger from Chili's tonight.  First they put this great little paper on the burger so all the drips (delicious drips I must ss) stay in the jacket instead of getting all over your fingers and so forth.  And today's burger had the most surprising crispy edge all around it where flavor just seemed to explode in your mouth.  Wow what a great taste.  This was the Old Timer with cheese.  It was also a really healthy size burger.   I do enjoyed this experience.  The bowl of Mexican street corner was a delightful surprise.  Actually, it was the best I've ever had.  Finally, hard to mess up buttered garlic asparagus, and Chili's certainly didn't disappoint.  You made my night, Chili's!  Thanks a lot.

Got the Bone-In Wings. Very meaty and well cooked. One of the drumettes was almost a drumstick. Maybe a little too much meat on that one. Didn't seem really like a wing and was not easy to dip in the blue cheese. Could have used a little more sauce on the wings. I was able to add a little bit of my own.

Food was great but highly disappointed in the White Spinach Queso. The container was barely half full with mostly spinach and guacamole and just enough queso to cover the bottom. Certainly not worth $12.

The classic Classic Ribeye* had more fat than I expected, and it wasn't that tender. although it was cooked properly to the medium rare I ordered. The "loaded"  mashed potatoes just had a sprinkling of the toppings on the top.  4 or 5  bites and it was just basically mashed potatoes after that. And the mashed potatoes were kind of dry. Save $1 or $2 and just get the regular mashed potatoes. The side salad was pretty decent. Although I needed to add a little extra of my own blue cheese dressing.
