OMG!! Fried Ribs were AMAZING! Flavor was good, cooked perfectly, the sauce was out of this world good! Also, I got the 3 meat deep didArtisan Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. That was delicious also. crust was hand made you can just tell, ingredients all tasted fresh like made from scratch. AMAZING! I got the Chocolate Alabama Stack Cake. It melted in your mouth, no need to chew. Awesome my bf includes, I thought one would be enough to share, sadly NOT. So get 2! Trust me ... GET 2! Im so happy there was no whipped cream, raspberry sauce or chocolate chips atop, that ruins everything. This entire meal was OUTSTANDING! We can't wait to order again & try it all.

10/10 would order again. The biscuits were huge & exactly what I needed. Not sure why I got a double order of mashed pot, would have been nice to know may that pot was a default veg that way I could have checked another veg, The added scoop of ice cream with caramel sauce was a generous touch. If you are craving southern victuals , say no more Order from Julep.

The smoked friend chicken is amazing. Ive never had it, and instantly fell in love upon the first bite. Its moist, full flavor, a touch of spice, and plenty for the cost. Best chicken I've had in a while. The sauces are a perfect pairing with the chicken and compliment, not over power. One sauce is sweet with some heat (my favorite). Im def getting food from here again.

Always the best food! The Texas Brisket Entree was so tender and melt in the mouth good. The crab and Bowl of Cream of Crab with Sweet Corn is always so tasty and warm inside. The Julep Sampler was a fantastic way to learn what you like the most in their meat selection and still comes with 2 sides. And we always have to have some hush puppies because this place makes the best I've tasted anywhere.

Very good food at very good prices. Robert "Bob" Krohn is an old friend and one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. No one cares more about his customer's experience than he does. The Southern Comfort Food label fits very nicely. The smoked meats are outstanding, and the wings are the best I've ever had. The bar is exceptional, especially if you're a Bourbon drinker, and the selection of beer is very good. Ice creams are homemade, and the desserts are locally sourced. I haven't been yet, but Sunday Brunch is pretty special, too.
