• 12/25/24The Roasted Root Vegetable Wellington was great. I particularly enjoyed the variety, quality and quantity of fresh veggies on the plate. And they were very nicely cooked. I was confused by the "sub" prefix on the "sub gluten-fee pasta", and I didn't know how it was supposed to fit into the picture. So I ordered it anyway. That resulted in a phone call looking for confirmation as to what I had intended. I think he was wondering if the pasta side order was supposed to substitute for the garlic mashed potatoes. In my view, a side order is an addition to the order, not a replacement of one of its components. And that was what I had intended.

• 5/24/25Locus has had a Summer Spinach Gnocchi on its menu for years, and I would usually order it unless something else took my fancy. But Lotus' chef has switched it up -- the Spinach Gnocci is suddenly something else entirely. It's a brilliant change-up. Lots of fresh veggies to go with the gnocchi, and the dried apricot chunks were wonderful accents in that mix. Then there was the sauce - rich and delicious.

• 6/6/24The Scallops & Spinach Salad (Gluten free) -- interesting, tasty, and healthy enough to justify bragging to your mother about how good it is for you. Spinach, bacon, sugared nuts, scallops, pear slices, all with a delightful dressing. And Jagvir got the order to me in very good time. 5 stars all around.

• 6/2/23The Mediterranean Casarecce with Seared Halloumi has to be one of Locus' best dishes. If you like the Mediterranean style, this is the dish to order. Good pasta, lots of veggie things, and topped off by the halloumi. I'll be back for more.
