I almost always order the Barrio Box. It's an incredible value for the large amount of food you receive, and there's been a discount the last few times I've ordered it, so I endulge and add the Side Thick Cut Bacon (GF), (which is outstanding, btw) and a side of one of the sauces that's on the taco(s) of my choosing.
What can I say? I love a great sauce, and lots of it...I'm a saucy guy!
The Le Tierra (my spelling is questionable, but it has steak, sautéed onions, and portobello mushrooms), and the something Loco (which has spiced chicken, corn, BBQ sauce) are my go-to tacos, and they're "Oh my goodness, buckle my knees!" delicious! I usually put a strip of bacon in each taco, which is my one guilty pleasure of the week (treat yourself)...
The guacamole is outstanding, but if you don't enjoy a garlic flavor, go with the queso or salsa.
I'm thrilled this Barrio opened so close by, and especially that things have improved so much since they first opened.

The chipotle chicken taco was drenched in a canned-like tomato sauce. I also got the prime rib taco which I didn't get a picture but the amount of filling in it was embarrassing. Filled up 1/4 of the taco. They also don't fill their sauces up so don't waste your money on sides of sauces.

Food was good and arrived quickly. Only thing is the amount of chips you receive is way greater than the amount of queso. Considering the price of to go chips and queso (which this box thankfully makes it affordable to get both tacos and chips and queso) if you buy them alone, the tiny soufflé cup they provide is stingy.

as usual, the flavor is fantastic but the only reason for the low rating this time is the two little strips of steak in the bowl would typically be in one taco for $4 not a $9 bowl

The Barrio Box is a great deal, most of the tacos are of my taste. Portion is huge, I make nachos with my sides and extra chips.
