The food at Granite Bay Beach Hut Deli is always top tier, and the service keeps me coming back! Fabulous!

California had no spinach & no tomatoes on it (menu says it comes with these items). They got my customizations right, but I only added them in the first place to help fill out the sandwich, since I don't get cheese, pickles, or peppers on it. But they didn't help make it a full, filling sandwich since they left out the spinach & tomatoes anyways. It's like they decided for me to substitute the items, instead of simply adding the additional ones I asked for. I did not select to have 'no tomatoes' or 'no spinach'. I gave them 3 stars because they got my customizations right, it tasted fine, & the young man I spoke to on the phone to notify them about their error was polite about it, & reassured me he's going to let the staff know to double check that they're making the orders correctly.

I always get the same thing usually at beach hut but today decided on something different the queso for the Shaka nachos was delicious, and the Spicolli was just as good! Never disappointed with beach but!

It was good, but I think there should've been a little more meat on the sandwich for the price.

They're ripping people off with the cost of the Shark Bite (almost $17). It only comes on regular, square bread, so there is no option for a large or XL, yet it's one of the most expensive items on the entire menu. Idk how BHD justifies the cost of it when most of their large & even XL sandwiches, some with bacon AND avocado (both expensive ingredients), AND 2-3x the meat, are still CHEAPER than the Shark Bite! It's crazy, & it sucks because it's my favorite sandwich from them. Unfortunately, with this kind of absurd price-gouging, I can't ever eat it again because I refuse to pay that much when it makes absolutely no sense, compared to the cheaper costs of everything else on the menu, that offer way more ingredients & in much larger sizes. What you get is just not worth what they're charging for it. To have it delivered, after tax would make it over $20, & that's not counting tipping the driver. That's a regular-sized sandwich, with no chips or drink. That's completely INSANE.
