This is my first time ordering from Burkindi Restaurant. The food is delicious. The plantains Alloco(plantain) are fried perfectly. Soft and sweet, just how I like it! This is my first time having Dibi with Riz Gras (Jollof Rice) it's amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant!

First time trying African food and what a first great impression!
Ordered the peanut butter soup, jollof rice, couscous with a side of fufu and bissap juice. Everything was good and fresh.
Peanut butter soup: I believe it had oxtail?? Regardless, it was fatty, tender and fell off the bone. Tasted even better eating with the fufu. Very strong peanut/peanut butter flavor. Would recommend to others who love fatty meats and peanuts.
Couscous: It's decent but a little bland. The side of sauces (?) that I think went on it made it a little bit better. The one sauce was WAY too spicy for me. This dish wasn't for me.
Jollof rice: Stole the show for me. Perfectly fresh and well seasoned. Not at all spicy or dry. Best meal out of the order.
Bissap juice: AMAZING!! An hibiscus tea with the right amount of sweetness.
My only complaint was that this whole thing cost $80. But, I think it's somewhat worth it because of the quality and the portion sizes. It was quite filling, especially for 1 person. After going back and forth between the different meals, I was full and I didn't even have a lot.

Delicious. The portions are nice. The food is well prepared and the workers are nice. The Poissons with Attieke (Kassava) was real good completely cooked and seasoned perfectly. The Poissons with Riz Gras (Jollof Rice) was also good one of the best Jollof rice in the area.

The Dibi is well seasoned and tender. I will be ordering from here again.
Best part is the food arrived still warm and portions for me was a good size. Most of the plantains were nice and soft.

It was okay I would try it again. I didn't care much for the sauce that was on the jollof <<taggedItemId=162157411>>Poissons with Riz Gras (Jollof Rice)<</taggedItemId>> the fish was well cooked. I want to go in store the next time and order tho. Prices on the door dash app makes it hard to try more than one item. Of and the pepper sauce was great but they do not give you enough for the amount of food you have. I literally received a half of a sauce cup. Veggie was fresh.
