This place is amazing flavor & quality wise. I've tried Calico now three times and gotten something new each time to go with my favorite, Bees Knees . If you don't try anything else, get the House-Made Churro Blondie 20/10! The only con to this place are the portions. I attached pics for reference They are small so be warned. I'd say it's more of small bites cafe type restaurant. Overall 9/10

I ordered two of the burritos with egg, bacon, and fried potatoes only received one tiny burrito with only two tiny pieces of bacon and only cheese that was too spicy not queso. The potato ball things were more like hush puppies.

The queso was a strong 7/10 or maybe 6 1/2. The tacos (texas hold em), specifically the barbacoa meat didn't really have flavor and it was dry. Thank God I had hot sauce to save the day. The bean burrito did not taste like an authentic bean burrito which is crazy because I mean it's a bean burrito but IYKYK. If you're expecting authentic mexican food then this is not the place.

This place is good but it could be better. They need to put more meat in the tacos rather than so much egg.
Season the meat more the flavor does not come through.
Also have little side cups of fresh cilantro mixed with onion to put on their food.
Their salsa is good.
Make real elote.
With Corn Tajin mayo sour cream mexican cheese cilantro and lime juice
instead of putting a dash of feta cheese and seasoning on the corn. If your expecting this to be elote you will be disappointed.
The chips were stale and the queso tasted ok but it is a weird texture.
It needs to be creamy and not gritty.
The jalapeno tater tots do not need to be fixed now those are fantastic.
If they would fix those few things id eat there everyday.
The customer service does not need to be fixed. They are super nice.

Texas hold em is the closest part of home. I'll get in Florida. Unless you're from Texas you won't understand 10 out of 10, but bring your own hot sauce.
