• 8/8/24Good, everything was great. Taco Salad is a nice portion and fresh and Chicken Flautas fried prefect and stuffed with chicken and cheese (love those), and the Chuy Chuy Churro Bites were not greasy, worth every penny.

• 7/31/26Ordered crispy beef tacos and they were filled poorly, and taco shells were cracked and broken. Side of rice and beans was criminally small and I was given Mexican rice when I ordered green chile rice.

• 7/30/26Chuy's has gone to heck since it changed hands. The quality of the menu items has drastically changed. Tonight I ordered a beef burrito with Tex . It was nothing like it used to be. Like a tsp of beef and they forgot the Tex mex sauce.

• 8/1/26I'm a long time Austin native and I have to say, I am disappointed in the quality and flavor from Chuys. They used to have beef fajitas with an amazing smokey flavor. Now, it's like trying to chew beef jerky with no flavor. I also don't count three to four slices of pepper in a sea of onion, reasonable mix.
It's very sad how the quality and flavor has diminished. I used to recommend, now, no.

• 2/3/26This was my #1 go to for years and years. I don't want to speculate too much, but it is suspicious that the decline in quality directly coincides with the change of ownership. Portion sizes are down, and the quality & freshness are down as well.
An 8 oz Queso is something like $11, but you're lucky if the container is even half filled.
