Hands down best Italian food (or I think just food in general) in Monticello and the Catskills, my favorite place to dine in town. The Belgian chocolate cake is like driving a Porsche on da streets o’ Brussels or Amsterdam Friday or Saturday night, or cruisin’ down the great highways of Europe, Australia, Canada, USA, that exact feeling, just outta this world. The Linguini with clams is just perfect, made with actual authentic great Italian pasta unlike the soggy tasteless stuff that a lotta places serve. Best baked Clams Oreganata I've had in a while. Overall the best place to eat in Monticello.

The Chicken Milanese meal including the salad was out of this world good. I have never had food from Ciao Bella before and do like it. As far as the Homemade Cheesecake The $11 slice was just two fingers wide at the widest part; and it jiggles.... since when does real cheesecake jiggle? I would eat there again as everything else was top notch, but hjaving a hard time swallowing an $11 slice

I’ve ordered from Ciao Bella a few times, and while the food tastes good, the delivery portions are ridiculously small compared to what you get at the restaurant. I recently got the beet salad and literally counted 13 leaves of arugula—$12 for what felt like two bites. That’s just frustrating.
When I’ve picked up in person, the portions were slightly better—probably because they know you can say something on the spot. One time, I ordered ahead for pickup around 8:30 PM on a weekday, got there after 30 minutes, and the guy had no idea I even placed an order. I had to wait another 20 minutes for them to make it. At that point, I might as well have just dined in.
Honestly, after this last experience, I don’t think I’ll be ordering again. The prices are too high for what they give you—especially with delivery. If you really want to try it, go pick it up yourself. Don’t waste your money on delivery unless you’re cool with getting half a portion.

The steak was very tough and lots of gristle. I expected more shrimp with the shrimp cocktail for 17$. My favorite part of the meal was the mashed potatoes.

Great stuff as always, the Chicken Balsamico tasted just like what you would have at a restaurant in Milan, delicious and fantastic, best place to eat in the Catskills!!
