Chicken n dumplings and grilled chicken tenders were delicious as always

Shephed's Pie was really flavorful and nice portion. However the portion on the homestyle chicken entree was on the smaller side. To us it seemed the two chicken breasts pieces were closer to the size of tenders rather than full-sized breasts. Also a bit overfried and dry. Chocolate Pecan Pie was also good with a nice balance on the sweetness.

the food was cold when it came and the serving was so small!! tgere was only one sweet ham and one sausage and it's hard as hell

My family has never experienced so poor a an example of their meals as we did today. Whether we dine in at the restaurant, order to go, or order via third party we have had always had a great meal except today. The child's plate which was the sliders and steak fries might have been the worst of the meals. The fries were fried so hard my grandson couldn't even bite into them, the buns were hard and dried out and the sliders looked like they made them the night before so that the cheese looked old and the meat was overcooked.
The country veggie plate, maybe we ordered too early in the day, but again we'd never had this issue before. So my granddaughter's vegetable plate was very unappealing - why they decided to put them in a to-go plate rather than their containers I have no idea, the portions were the same sizes. The mac-n-cheese were underdone, not even a hint that they cooked them in the oven, or even touched them up in the salamander, the pinto beans and collard greens looked like they were afraid to add some sort of moisture, and I could've done better with a can of green beans from my pantry where the green beans were concerned.
The final meal, we decided to ask for the gravy to be on the side and by the time it got to us it was congealed into a thick pudding, the chicken fried steak was tough to chew. The hash browns were again overdone, I think the only good thing was the scrambled eggs but even that did not appeal as they were cold.

Cheese was burned. Country Fried Pickles were salty and not crispy. I did not receive biscuits or cornbread.
