Cuchifritos' roast chicken (and their Alcapurrias, AND the stewed OREJITA) is excellent, they fulfill special requests, and, for those who don't know this, stewed orejita is VER HEALTHY because it consists of a LOT OF COLLAGEN AND CONNECTIVE TISSUE with essentially no fat.
Because ears are sort of crunchy/chewy, you MAY want to add a half cup or so of water to the orejita in a small saucepan, cover it, and simmer on the stovetop's lowest setting until the ear meat is fork tender.
Don't focus on WHAT it is, just keep in mind how good it is for the elasticty of your skin and hair, its immune-boosting properties, and its benefit to your bones, joints and joint fluid, and your connective tissue. You can look up collagen on the internet to see how good it is for your health.

First of all the food is good and the delivery is on-time. Beyond that i have this to say: The portions are small. The medio pollo is small. It fits in a regular size 9" foil take-out pan that they use for the white rice and Arroz con Gandules. I've also ordered the Papa rellena, Morcilla, and alcapurrias. All of them were great.
Both times i ordered it came out to about 40 dollars total for basically one-meal. Enough to feed one adult. I would recommend for everyone except if you're on a budget or have company coming over lol.

So much Arroz / Rice . It's amazing. I ordered a small, the pequeño, and I'm Literally swimming in rice. Beautiful. Pernil / Pork Shoulder also tastes great. Only issue is the Pastelitos de Pollo o Carne / Chicken or Meat Pastelitos (I ordered meat) is very flat, had very little filling, and was very very oily. It was pleasantly crunchy, and what meat i did manage to eat tasted wonderful, there just wasn't enough of it.

This is my second time eating at this place, and it's amazing. The pernil is juicy and tender and beyond flavorful. The rice and beans blow my mind. I know basic but, I don't EVEN like beans, but I love these. The meat Pastelitos are delish, could have a tiny more filling but really good. And lastly the maduros are soft and sweet, flavored really well. Top notch and order #3 and #4 are definitley on the horizon.
