You can tell this place makes their food with love and care. I ordered the lamb plate and it doesn't matter what you are taking a bite of, every bite is absolutely overflowing with flavour and everything compliments each other beautifully! The portions are large and the food is fresh and beautifully seasoned. Mediterranean/Arabic food is one of my favourites and I've had some great Mediterranean/Arabic food in Portland. Dare I say, this place is outstanding and honestly raises the bar to some places I've eaten at. Whether passing through or if you live in the area, give this place a try. بارك الله في الطاهي!

The Damascus Chicken was perfectly seasoned and generously portioned. The Pita is incredibly soft and served warm even for my takeout order. I loved Hummus as well! Plus the staff was so welcoming and kind to me when I came to pick my order up it made my whole day. I was only visiting Salem for one night and I'm glad I chose to eat here.

This place is magnificent! Incredible middle eastern fare, probable the best I've had in Oregon. After traveling to Syria, Iraq, Kuwait, and Afghanistan... I say it's a contender!
Lovely service. When our large complex order they hooked us up with some extra baklava! So kind.
What a wonderful family operation too.
This is the ONLY place in Salem now that my Army buddies and I go to eat.

The quality is incredible, and I'm a bit of a snob about Mediterranean and Arab restaurants. Haven't seen this sort of quality since Gyro Stop closed. Could do a better job with packing to keep it warmer, but that's a small issue. I intend to go in person next time I'm craving it 🤤

I ordered my husband a Lamb Shawarma and now it's our favorite thing to order! Generous portions and the best fresh ingredients. We love the staff at Damascus Kitchen, definitely is my favorite place in town.
