I'm running out of adjectives to describe how absolutely amazing this place is. Every selection is fresh, generously portioned, and tastes like heaven on my tongue. I could drink their salsa like sweet tea. I can't get enough of this place.

I’ve ordered from Don Tequila three times now, and every single time has been top tier. I mean, mouth-wateringly, full-body-happy-dance amazing. I don’t even want to order from the other Mexican places around anymore—and trust me, I used to rotate between all of them. But now that I’ve found Don Tequila? It’s game over.
The flavor here is unmatched. Where the others seem to have settled for “just throw some hot sauce on it,” Don Tequila actually puts care into their cooking. The meats are seasoned perfectly, and they don’t skimp on the good stuff—I’m talking real, sautéed bell peppers and onions, not just a pile of filler. Even the chips are good (yes, the chips), and the salsa? Flavor-packed with just the right kick, not too spicy, just perfection.
I don’t know what kind of culinary sorcery they’re doing in that kitchen, but my waistline is in danger and I don’t even care. This is my new go-to, and I genuinely don’t think you need to look anywhere else for Mexican food around here.
Don Tequila is it.

Freshest ingredients and the best tasting food in all of Lafayette! The value is incomparable. I love, love, love this place! The crispy chips and salsa are perfection! Please don't ever change a thing ;-)

the Mega chimichanga is a lot of food, everything that is usually on the side(rice, beans, lettuce,sour cream, tomatoes) are all packed inside together topped with cheese sauce. I like mine with extra. overall very satisfying. I've ordered it a couple of times now and it's always consistent.

I traded the quesadilla for an extra spinach enchilada. I had to pick at the avocado as there were several rotten spots. Dasher came straight to me from the restaurant but food was luke warm. I still give them 5 stars cuz I love them ÷) Its always a great value and the food is always good.
