• 3/16/25Double Daves will always and forever be a tried and true Austin tradition! Born and raised here and the Pepperoni Rolls® (1 sauce per 6 rolls) in the 90's are the same wonderful pepperoni rolls today! Try the Cinnstyxzamon those are to die!! Always fresh and hot on arrival!

• 12/17/22The best pizza in Austin - and our family are pizza snobs! The reasons for this:
- BEST crust in ATX .. not too hard/"crackery" and not too soft. Thicker than a Brooklyn style yet still easy to fold. Not as thick as a traditional crust. It's an A+.
- The sauce is good. There are a few other pizza places here with slightly better sauce by itself, but the sauce & the crust are a great combo.
- Perfect amount of cheese. I know some love it, and some REALLY love it - and I think for us it's just "perfect." It doesn't eclipse the toppings.
- And speaking of toppings, they are fresh!
This is OUR FAVORITE pizza in ATX, not that others aren't good - there are some great candidates out there. But for now, this is the blue ribbon pizza for our weird city.

• 11/7/24Haven't had DoubleDave's in forever. The margherita pizza was delicious, the pepperoni Pepperoni Rolls® (1 sauce per 6 rolls) were on point, and the Cherry Strudel was amazing. We're going to be ordering from here more often!

• 3/31/23I still love the pizza here, but was really disappointed with the quality last time. Huge crust edges of around 2 inches long, then an inch of just sauce, and then the actual pizza toppings. I've ordered here for years and will likely give it another go, but be aware you may effectively pay for a Big Dave and get a large pizza at best.

• 11/2/25We created our own pizza with the toppings my son wanted and placed the order. When we checked, we weren’t sure whether it came with red or white sauce, so I called the store right away to confirm that we wanted white sauce. It was late, and we were really hungry, so we quickly picked up the order without noticing that there was an extra box.
To our surprise, the team had made one pizza with red sauce and an additional one with white sauce — and they didn’t charge us for the extra! That’s truly amazing customer care and service. We really appreciate their thoughtfulness and generosity!Create Your Own Pizza (10” Small)
