First time eating Chicago style pizza, last time I will ever want pizza from anywhere else!! (And that's roughly 50 years of pizza eating experience speaking!). I ordered a 7" pepperoni & loved every bite of the delicious, chewy crust, zesty pizza sauce, & the slight zing of heat in the pepperoni. Totally converted & highly recommending this first class joint!

I've had an amazing calzone from this location in the past that was soft and gooey and delicious. I was craving one and expected it to be as good as i remembered but this time it was over cooked and hard and the sausage inside was dry. The entire thing was flavorless and lack luster. The chicken strips weren't any better. Those were dry and the batter looked like the fryer oil hadn't been changed in several days. I'm definitely willing to give this place another try and update my review, because I don't want to let one bad experience outshine all the potential good ones, but this last order was not impressive.

This is by far the worst pizza I have ever had from Doughy Joeys and I've had many. The was very little cheese when I ordered a cheese pizza and the sauce was scorched. The pizza was also overcooked. The crust was burnt. I don't think I'll be ordering from them again. I thought it was my favorite place to get Chicago pizza. I guess I'll have to keep searching. I couldn't even eat a whole piece.

I ordered extra sauce/extra cheese. It arrived looking very unappealing. Once the pizza had been put in the to go container..they clearly just poured sauce all over the top! Couldn't see any toppings or cheese. The sauce was everywhere. I THOUGHT I was getting an extra spoonful of sauce...not 2 full cups of it! Everything was soggy and mushy because of the massive sauce dump ontop of my pizza.
