My family loves El Agavero! My son is home from college and his favorite is the Super Burrito Famoso with grilled chicken. It is so delicious and gigantic so he often as leftovers to eat the next day. I love the Caldo Tlalpeno soup. It is a delicious chicken soup with veggies and just a bit spicy. The Agavero salad is delicious too and has lots of healthy toppings. This is one of our family's favorite restaurants.

We love this place, but strayed and ordered bad today. The super burrito is just too big to eat and there's so many better burritos in Oakland. And the nachos were a soggy mess that congealed together into a brick. Caldo de Pollo us delicious though. Definitely going back to our usual enchiladas and torta for next time though.

The guacamole barely had any detectable avocado in it, tasted more like chimmichurri. Lots of cilantro and tomatillo (no tomato as in description). Was more of a sauce. Super burrito is huge and good value though for splitting between two or three people.

Bland, but large portion for the Super Burrito. Food arrived cold despite being only a 7 minute drive from the restaurant. Presented in a plastic container instead of foil wrap unlike literally every other burrito I've ever had.

We visit El Agavero often and appreciate the authentic food and great service. Both the Camarones Empanizados and Steak Fajitas were delivered warm - very tasty, good amount of food for the money.
