• 8/9/26Both my parents are from the South and I can say that each item I ordered reminded me of their cooking when I was growing up. The chicken was crispy and perfectly seasoned, greens tender and well seasoned with a nice smoky flavor from the meat. Mac n cheese was nice and moist with the perfect balance of little crisp from baking in the oven, and the beans and rice were delicious too.
I was sooo pleased with everything, and felt comfortable eating because they staple your bag together! Thank you so much Fixins!

• 2/4/26GREAT FOOD! Amazing flavor, not too salty or spicy, hot, fresh and good price point. The chicken was fried to perfection! The YAMS!!!!!! OMG!!!! DIVINE!!!!!!!!! just the right sweet and texture, not mushy - just perfect!!! The greens seemed like a mix of a little sweet, and spicy, but delicious! and the MAC was cheesy mac-N (lol) delicious!!! Looking forward to more another time :)

• 7/6/26We're usually a fan of Fixins, but the Mac and cheese on the 4th of July was off. It was somewhat bland. No one in the family finished their portion. :(
The greens also seemed to have more salt and vinegar than usual.

• 5/9/26As a southern transplant, this place has become a staple for me when I'm craving a little bit of home. Some of the best fried chicken in the city, IMO and I'm a chicken FIEND. Mac and cheese is out of this world and no one does Kool-aid and sweet tea better. Corn bread is insane. Honestly I could write an essay but I'll chill.

• 4/16/26Oh my dear LORD!!!! I came from Maryland for a conference and my home sickness was cured!!! I felt like I was eating a plate from my auntie. I enjoyed every bite! The portion size was perfect. I was sooooo full! Nothing tasted like grease. I came back on my last day and ordered take out, winner winner fish dinner!
