I moved to AZ from the East Coast close to 20 years ago. Over the years I've tried many, many, many steak and cheese places here and always ended up disappointed so I eventually just gave up altogether. As an official East Coaster, I'd like to commend Forefathers for their true to style cheesesteak. The Regular was a perfect size for me, I had to split it into two meals. The Cheese Fries were also seriously delicious with texture and crunch. I've found my new go to whenever I get the craving. Ty!

Super Tasty and fresh and worth your money for sure. The Large is definitely Large. I could do with more mushrooms but thats a personal preference. The 50/50 Fry (Half Sweet/Half Regular)were fried nicely and the fry sauce is a must.

My husband loves Forefathers sandwiches. So I ordered for lunch and surprised him. It is a specialty as it is a little pricey for us. I was so disappointed with the food. The fries had soo much salt on them I had to get a plate a dust them off. There was probably 1/8 th of a cup on my fries alone and on his as well. The sandwich seemed to only have cheez wiz on it so it was salty as well. I will order again I am sure but I will make to say no salt.

Honestly, a really bland sub. The steak tasted cheap and for a nearly 20 dollar sub and a Large, there was not enough of it. The Cheese Fries were alright. Again, nothing great. Probably not gonna order again to be honest.
Food was prepared fine, no issues with freshness or anything like that.
