• 1/14/25this place has really changed for the worst. fries are no good anymore. burger bun was stale and gross. just everything I've gotten here in the past 2 months has been a disappointment and I hate to say that as I grew up eating here. Just not the same anymore sadly.

• 9/8/24If I could give no stars I would! I love Foster's Freeze and have had their food at various locations including Atwater. Every order was piping hot, fresh and tasty. That was not the case today. Fish sticks, were burnt black on one side and dried out like they had been reheated multiple times. The same goes for the zucchini sticks. The fries tasted like a mixture of reheated and fresh ones that were not completely done. Also ordered a bacon double cheeseburger. The burger was old and had been reheated to the point that it crumbled when I took a bite. And by the way I immediately spit it out. The cheese was hard, never melted, the tomato was old and the onions were nonexistent. In other words they weren't added. I will admit the shakes were fine and in the 102 degree heat in Merced they arrived cold and un-melted. (thank you Doordash) This bag of slop was $46.00 before fees. There must be new ownership at the Atwater location because the Foster's Freeze locations that I've visited in the past would never allow anything to come out of their restaurant that was below standards. As I said before everything except the shakes went to the trash. I ordered from Jack n the Box to replace.
