I have been going to Gai on 16th St for years, since before the boom of chicken rice places across town. I think I have now tried them all, but I feel like Gai is really the best of them all, I keep coming back here. They are consistent, the flavour is amazing. The portions are generous. The sources are fantastic. I usually just get the original one with the ginger and scallion sauce and a habanero! On a few occasions, it happened to me that the chicken rice was on the cooked, but he hasn't happened for a while! 9.5/10 :)

It's a weekday go to for my fam of four including two picky toddlers! We love the noodle Gai Noodle Soup and the Thai Basil Gai and the mala dan dan noodles (for adults as it's a bit on the spicier side). Wings are also bomb. I was impressed the soup came piping hot even via delivery. Great portions and reasonable pricing too. Def suggest it for a yummy soul comforting meal.

One of my go-to delivery places. The food is delicious, I always get the original Gai with ginger sauce. The portion sizes are big enough for 1.5 meals.
The Chicken rice is deliciously flavorful, and you can tell that the chicken they use is fresh.

I inhaled it all. The Crispy Wings and Rice Combo were so tasty and just the right flavor. I don't like cucumbers but I ate the one included in it. Neatly packaged and everything came to me perfectly. Thai Mango Milk was delicious. Wish the straw wasn't flimsy paper but that's very minor complaint.

It's my first time eating here and it did not disappoint! The food was so good and flavorful! The chicken was tender inside but crunchy on the outside and the rice was really delicious. I was even given a side of soup that was delicious as well. The portion size of chicken is perfect for one person, and the rice portion is enough for two! Food was fresh and warm and Thai ice tea perfectly sweet. No complaints from me :) I'll be adding this restaurant to my list of go-to places.
