I've eaten Ramen in Tokyo and Osaka. Ive eaten ramen locally and I've been passionate about the delicate and skillful art of brewing and making a wonderful bowl of Ramen my whole life.
What im about to write is the experiance I just had eating a bowl of Ramen from Hakata Gensuke.
The Tonkotsu ramen I had is melt in your mouth good. The strips of pork are light and gentle and compliments to the pure garlic smelling broth, which is thin enough to slurp, but adhesive enough to gently cling onto the aldente thin ramen noodles for an all round wonderful palette experience. The bowl itself isnt too rich and creamy which can be over powering.
Instead the bowl is a balanced, authentic journey of culinary rapture in Ramen form.
Indulge.
Buy. Consume the journey. Enjoy.
The artisan who made this is highly skilled, serving Tokyo to you in a bowl.

Worst vegetarian ramen I’d eaten. Flavour was bland, filled with lots of cheap cabbage & nothing else. Paid $30 for 1 small bowl of ramen with 2 eggs. Expensive waste of money.

Hakata Gensuke’s Signature Tonkotsu Ramen genuinely altered my state of consciousness. From the first sip of that impossibly rich, velvety broth, I felt myself ascending beyond the mortal plane. The flavour was so deep, savoury, and luxurious that I genuinely began floating through the experience in euphoric bliss. I added an egg, and its molten yolk melting into the broth elevated the dish into something almost spiritual. I excluded the fungus simply because nothing deserved to distract from the masterpiece unfolding within that bowl. Every bite felt like divine intervention. This ramen did not feed me. It transformed me.
Thank you, Hakata Gensuke.

Bit expensive but pretty good. Level 2 spicy is already pretty spicy coming from someone who loves spice. $27 and No egg? Hmm. Would order again if I feel like ballin
