I've tried many local restaurant's cheesesteak. Happy Hawg's chicken philly cheesesteak sandwich is the best I've ever had anywhere! The pulled pork is excellent and you can't beat the homemade fries. Please try their homemade potato salad. It's the best I've ever tasted . Portions are generous, too. One of my new favorite local restaurants!

The food is always delicious, and still hot. They never forget the sauce. The french fries are made fresh and not believed maybe even cut in the store that's what they taste like. They definitely are up to par with Ted's and five guys fries.

Half rack only consisted of 5 small ribs. Not happy about that. Collard greens tasted funny. Loved baked beans, cornbread and potato salad. Lizzie fries were cold with burnt pieces of pork underneath. First time trying. Was not supper pleased. Banana pudding had great taste but very soupy. $62+ for so so food today. Assuming they were overworked on this mother's day occasion.

Used to really love this place. It's been a while since my family has ordered. We were highly disappointed. No chili on a yellow jacket and barely any of the other ingredients. Salad tasted like it had been sitting all day. Hickory fries plate was a third smaller in portion yet is $11+...my heart hurts a bit because Happy Hawg was one of our favorite places to eat.

Catfish is delicious and well seasoned. Crispy edges just like I like it! Delicious coleslaw like momma used to make. Okra needed salt but I added. Overall, totally satisfied. And the cornbread is always awesome complete with sweet corn in the batter! Yum!
