Ordered the Black and Blue Burger and it was out of this world delicious!! The burger was huge and thick and cooked to perfection! Smothered in grilled onions and bleu cheese, so yummy!! The fries were fresh cut and awesome as well! Highly recommend HIllcrest Tavern and the Black and Blue Burger !!

this was the most trash meal I've ever ordered. not one thing was good. the pretzels were tasteless but even worse was the beer cheese. it was a thick paste like texture, ice cold had wayyy too much beer in it. the smell alone made me sick. the club sandwich would've been OKAY had the bread but been hard as a rock. it felt like they toasted it the day before and kept it sitting out. the chicken platter was $22 first of all and the fries came in 2 bags they was soggy and not cooked throughly and you guessed it the fries and chicken was tasteless. all together I could've fed my family for half the price at McDonald's and we would've actually gotten full. NEVER AGAIN and I'd recommend you don't either

Got the Beer Battered Fish 'n Chips, I've never had such light, crunchy and flavorful breading. The fish was excellent, as were the hushpuppies! House fries are house fries, nothing super exciting about those. I'd suggest y'all get into some tots! It also came with a teeny cup of slaw, teeny like sauces come in, was ok. And the sauces... tarter and a spicy something were also very good. I'd get most of this again, just not big on the fries. Overall, well done, y'all.

These battered mushrooms are to die for. Obviously breaded and fried in house. Battered fish sandwich is delicious! Bun is buttery and tartar sauce is perfect!

Wings and tenders were great! The burger too, although the bottom of the bun was soggy. Fries lack flavor, but the rest of the meal was pretty filling without them. Love that they don't use styrofoam containers.
