While searching for restaurants specializing in fried chicken, I stumbled across Hip Hop Fish & Chicken—a name that instantly caught my attention. Curious, I checked out the menu and was immediately intrigued. What I didn’t expect, however, was just how good the food would be.
I ordered the Soul Side Special and selected five wings, fries, macaroni and cheese, and collard greens. To say the meal exceeded my expectations would be an understatement—it absolutely blew me away. Every bite was flavorful, satisfying, and clearly made with care. And the portions? Generous enough that I ended up with both lunch and dinner, all at a very reasonable price.
This was my first time ordering from Hip Hop Fish & Chicken, but it definitely won’t be my last. In fact, I’m already considering them for catering a group gathering I’m hosting next month—I have no doubt my guests would love it just as much as I did.
This place has quickly become a favorite, and I’m truly happy I found it. Highly recommend!

Hip Hop Fish & Chicken is always the best! Catfish is amazing. Great seasoning, arrives crispy and fresh. Hush puppies are always on point.
The only thing I'm not fond of is their fries.

Fish and fries were made fresh and HOT. Seasoned well and I have no complaints. Nice big pieces of fish - fries seasoned good and I enjoyed the sauce . We'll definitely order again ! Half and Half was delicious. Peach cobbler was affordable and good .

The collard greens, sweet potatoes, and fried chicken were fresh and well seasoned. Portions were perfect!! Big fan of the Bean Pie!! Kind of reminds me of Sweet Potato Pie.
