++Ingredients fresh, flavour excellent, and great packaging
--Too much rice, sushi falls apart, truffle sauce in the hamachi was overpowering
Price is fair, would probably order the unagi oshi and seared salmon again

It's fresh and rice is perfect some place the rice is hard and doesn't taste good but this one was perfect. Next time I wanna come to the restaurant in person and order different menu too.

• 7/4/26The food is always good here but they use plastic containers for the Chicken Teriyaki Bento w/ Miso soup so the trapped moisture renders the tempura shrimp soggy and chewy (though I suppose you shouldn't expect fried food to travel well in general), otherwise it's 💯

• 2/21/26I ordered the Grilled Saba Mackerel and a roll, and unfortunately the experience did not match the price I paid (around $30 in total or more).
The portions were very small for takeout, and the soup was only a few sips of broth. The fish also contained multiple bones, which made it difficult to eat and did not feel properly prepared for a meal at this price point. Overall, it did not feel like a satisfying dinner and lacked the value I expected.
I submitted a refund request through the delivery app, but it was declined without any resolution, which added to the disappointment.
I understand that pricing can vary, but for this cost I expected a more substantial portion and a better overall experience.
The dishes were not particularly memorable, and I wouldn’t describe the experience as “wow” in any way.
First, the soup arrived cold and was also very salty.
I would also question the freshness of the soup, as it tasted unusual and did not seem freshly prepared.
The rolls tasted very ordinary — nothing special, just average rolls that I could have purchased at Kinjo for a lower price. As for the fish, it contained many bones and looked overly oily and fatty, which was quite unappealing visually and made it difficult to enjoy.
Overall, the meal did not feel worth the cost. It left me wondering whether this really justified a $30 price point.
For an Asian cuisine experience, this felt quite underwhelming. After reading the positive Google reviews, I honestly did not understand what people were praising. The food did not stand out in flavor, presentation, or quality, and it did not reflect the level I would expect based on those reviews. Would I order from here again? No.
I have been to many Japanese and Asian restaurants, from casual spots to more upscale places, and I can confidently say this was a disappointment, especially considering the high ratings and reviews. The portions were very small, and the overall meal did not feel satisfying for the price.
The photos made the dishes appear larger than what was actually received. In reality, the portion sizes were quite minimal, which made the value feel even more questionable.
