Hop Lee is always reliable, delicious, fast - everything you can ever ask for from a neighborhood Chinese takeout place. General Tso, broccoli shrimp, and chow mein are my favorites. The lady at the counter is super nice.

I ordered chicken wings with fries.  It's the most blandest and nasty tasting food I have ever eaten from Chinese food.  The fries are just even worst, in all Chinese food restaurants I been to , I'm used to crinkle fries -crispy.  The one I got was like I don't even know what it called just bland and soft. $15 total was a joke.

The 48. General Tso's Chicken  has no tanginess, and its breading is without body. The eggroll is extremely greasy and virtually tasteless. The 25. Chicken Fried Rice is an improvement above the other items but ultimately not redemptive.

They always seem to undersalt their dishes so I add salt at home. The 8. Roast Pork Wonton Soup has very thick-skinned wontons which may or may not be to your liking. 22. Pork Dumplings (Steamed Or Fried) are fine. 53. Chicken With Mixed Vegetables is my go-to but again, always needs more salt. I like that they're so close to my apartment and the staff is so nice  but wouldn't go that often otherwise.
