Today I ordered from DoorDash twice from the same wonderful place—Horchata Mexican Restaurant—and I’m so glad I did. It’s always a delightful internal debate between their Bean & Cheese Burrito and their Asada Burrito, because both are absolute feasts. So today I decided to treat myself to both, along with an order of their fries.The Bean & Cheese Burrito was outstanding—melted cheese that stretched perfectly and beans cooked to absolute perfection. The Asada Burrito was equally amazing: tender, flavorful meat, perfectly seasoned beans and onions, every bite seasoned just right. And let’s not forget those fries—crispy on the outside, seasoned to perfection, the ideal companion to both burritos.Thank you, Horchata, for creating such a delicious, satisfying meal. Your kitchen clearly puts real care and pride into every order, and it shows. Moments like this remind me why supporting local spots that consistently deliver quality and flavor is so rewarding. Horchata was an epic upgrade to the previous restaurant. They have quality ingredients and the food tastes homemade. They have years of experience from their Santa Monica location and it shows. We are fortunate to have a high caliber authentic Mexican restaurant in the neighborhood.

Delicious authentic Mexican food! Ive had almost all of the menu and everything is great! Even the burger and fries! Outstanding quality here. Some of the items are spicy so ask if you're not sure, like the shrimp tacos!

First time getting the Pescado a La Plancha. The fish was moist with a light, delicate taste.
The ShrimpTaco was spicy. I'll have to remember to ask for extra mild the next time I order it.

At the time of this review, the #-1 Soft tacos (3) listed that rice and beans are included with the order however they were not in the sealed bag that was delivered. The carne asada tacos themselves were delicious. The meat was grilled well and it was very flavorful. The tortilla was soft and delicious. It's just too bad that I was still hungry at the end due to the missing items.
