What can I say.... Johnny has the best pastrami on the West Coast. Marble rye, 6 oz.is the way to go. 80/20 blend of meat with not much fat. Fantastic onion rings that don't slime out of their crunchy exterior.
Plus, Johnny has a great personality and makes everyone feel at home. There is an outdoor eating area in the back with heaters.

This is really the best place for a casual brunch, Mimosas with their amazing meat sandwiches, burgers selection. Love going here! Everything is seasoned to perfection! actually is the best place ever!

Deeelicious! The best pastrami sandwich in all of SF, in my humble opinion. Flavorful, juicy not fatty with the right amount of smoke. Been ordering from them since they opened.

ORIGINAL SPICY FRIED CHICKEN was not good. Overcooked and stringy chicken. The apple slaw lacked the acidity to balance the fried chicken. Caesar salad that came with it uses bottled dressing and wasn't good either. Just get the pastrami. Everything else not good.
