Although there was a wait time the food was amazing! The shrimp were cooked perfectly and the grits were nice and creamy!! The staff was very apologetic for the time me & others waited. I didn't get the young lady or young man name that was at the counter but their customer service top notch!!

Excellent food. Their Oxtails tasted like real oxtails lol. When I order Oxtails from other restaurants it doesn't have oxtail taste. The mashed potatoes, candied yams, and collard greens all were cooked well and great.  The rice of the day was yellow it was great in season right. The food is a great prices. As a member of the consumer's council, I strongly recommend this restaurant.

I had the shrimp and grits as well as the chicken and waffles. I personally prefer pancakes but I love chicken and waffles. I loved the chicken, flavorful well seasoned crispy but not crunchy and juicy. The waffles were surprisingly good. I tried them at room temperature for as a taste test and they were still good, so fluffy with a hint of sweetness and nutmeg I believe. I couldn't wait to warm them up. 9/10 The shrimp and grits were also very good. Although I did not like the shrimp, very low quality selection of shrimp 1/10 based on texture taste and my experience with shrimp from other restaurants. Please consider changing seafood vendor. The sauce was delicious! The grits were cooked perfectly. I would have liked the additional optional for garnishes like bacon bits and green onions but that didn't stop me from enjoying 8/10!

I've never done a review before... however this is very deserving. Im visiting here from Detroit, Mi this was my first stop I didn't even order off doordash lol. At 40 years old this was by far the best food I ever had from any restaurant in my life. I ordered the Pork Chops, Greens and Potatoes w/onions and peppers. absolutely delicious. I went there on April 1st. Customer Service was great, nice atmosphere, no complaints.

The Shrimp and grits were delicious and I had a slice of the butter cream cake but the slice was too small for the price they charged for it.
