definitely was in the mood for comfort food, like Mama's. I ordered Vegetable Plate , Mac and cheese, turnip greens and stewed apples Egg Custard Pie . Delicious 😋 generous portions as usual. I'll probably be ordering again next week! 👍

The chicken and dumplings are the best in town. Better than Cracker Barrel. The okra is crispy and the ice box lemon pie was amazing. The portions are more than generous and the coffee was fresh and hot. I would order again

Consistent taste always and amazing flavor. Seasoned perfectly haven't found dish i didn't like yet. Broocli casserole I'm not use to culturally but i enjoy its taste and texture . Food always fresh and hot . Child's size is perfect portion sizes for quick adult meal as well. I was so hungry i only got picture of partial serving sizes

I got veggie plate with Mac, sweet potatoes casserole, green beans. Portions always good. The Mac was a bit wet today but flavor and noodles good. Always fresh and hot to touch even after delivery. Will order again. Yeast rolls size of my hand !
Peach Cobbler was delicious . I have also had strawberry but that one is sweet for me .

I've eaten at Jackson's for many years and this is the first time I've ever been disappointed. When you go to Jackson's you know you're going to get a good hot meal, most likely more than you can eat, and the best line server's who are happy, and the sweetest waitresses who keep your glass full of sweet tea. Granted I had my dinner delivered, but here goes. Had roast beef that's always a winner. I asked for ajous but didn't get any, they had dressing which I love and they don't have it enough lol and an extra order of cranberry sauce and got 1 little serving. Again, if I had eaten in, they would have taken good care of me. I'll quit wining and open up my 2 pieces of the best pie around. I do have to share the egg custard pie with my old dog cause he loves it as much as me. Will this experience keep me away...heck no, I'll be back in a couple of days, because Jackson's reminds me of home! Good people and good food.
