Portions are huge. Looking at the pictures of the Jollof Rice & Chicken I didn't think it would be enough for two people. I had to weigh the container before we dug in. it was over 2lbs! The chicken is very tender. It has some spice to it, but it's not so hot your mouth is burnt. The Samosas were a tad more done than I prefer. but the filling totally makes up for it. best Samosas I've ever had. You can make out each individual ingredient in the filling, it's not all just a mush. The Plantains (V) are good, and another large portion for what you pay. The Mandazi is also very good. I waited to eat that last, so they were cold. I recommend eating them first while still warm. If you've never had them, they have a pretzel like taste. but with less salt.

The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh and warm still. The Greens (V) and Egusi & Fufu were wonderful. And so were the Plantains (V). Plenty of food to eat and will be ordering again.

food came hot oxtail was tender and good but rice was ok so that dish was not worth $30 as for the Egusi & Fufu not good I've had better, the fufu was in the texture of mash potatoes.i like my fufu sticky again not worth $25 lastly Mandazi its okay fluffy not to heavy a $1 for one small ball i guess it a fair price .

Everything was so good! The egusi & fufu was rich, flavorful, and super filling. The samosas were the highlight—crispy, fresh, and absolutely 🔥. Will definitely be ordering again!

Samosas are a little small but amazing! Jollof Rice and Chicken is 10/10. A little spice made it perfect. Makes me feel bad rating other places a 10, they really deserve it at Kate's!
