Very homely food and pretty good portion sizes too! I like that they are unapologetic regarding the spice levels of their food, and being true to their cuisine and culture. There were whole tempered green chillies in the dal and the egg curry and that tasted fantastic -- just the way I like it. And the aloo bhorta was also very good. This was reminiscent of my home's food for me. Thank you!

I just wanted to let you know that I didn’t appreciate the food. It was no way near Kacchi biriyani. The rice was mushy and there were only three tiny tehari size meat pieces. I really was craving for a home cooked Bengali food and was ok to pay the extra price but the quality was so poor compared to the overprice.
I appreciate the note and aloo bhorta but the kacchi was no way the Bengali kacvhi biriyani. Hope you will consider this feedback and improve the quality going forward.

Flavor was awesome, but the serving size is quite small for the price. The Dal(lentils) and Rui Macher Jhol (Rohu Fish Curry) barely had any content in the dish.

It's actually tough to put into words how much my girlfriend and I love this place. We order dal throughout the fall and winter on an almost weekly basis so we can have it stocked for little nibbles throughout the week. If we get sick we basically fuel our immune systems with dal and aloo.
This place has so much good press and it's completely deserved and yet still not enough. I'm happy they brought this food into my life, but they are fantastic members of the community. The women that run the place are heavily supportive of the local library and I'll say it for them, you should go get your library card! It comes with so many free perks and I know the ladies that put out this insanely good food would love it. I got mine online because they basically sold me on it. (I promise I don't work for the library lol)

The portion was very small for the value. 8 oz portion was half the size. Some of the food was flavorful. I would rather dine in next time.
