The tuna steak is a go to order for me at Kotobuki. Generous portion and good flavor. Very fresh.

This restaurant used to be the highest quality around. Over the past year things have changed drastically. The ridiculously late orders for pickup and delivery , and the chaotic dining in experience service wise, were always made up for by the quality of the food. No longer. Now you pay astronomical prices for all of the lack above. The fish in my last three orders (two pickup and one delivery) has been discolored and even with a slight smell. At the gas station sushi this is expected . Not for these prices . A huge disappointment . Not to mention if you order delivery, good luck getting it. The driver sits around waiting for the order for at least a half an hour over the estimated time without fail. Often is forced to leave and then you wait another extra amount of time . The place is surviving on old momentum and reputation and doing absolutely nothing to improve or even maintain its quality - except for continuing to raise prices .

The rolls and sushi was good however the 1 piece Salmon sushi was spoiled and inedible. The UFO Crazy Roll was filling but poorly put together. They dumped a thick layer of chopped salmon that made the dish look unappetizing but fortunately it tasted good. The rolls could have been packed more tightly to avoid having them fall apart when you picked them up.
I placed my order at 630pm and didn't receive them 740pm which is an unreasonable wait time, but I was not in a rush.
I called the store about spoiled Salmon and Erin offered me credit for next time. I was hoping to receive a refund on my cc but she claimed she couldn't do it b/c it was placed on DD.
I will call in next time when I plan to place my order on DD to ensure they make it right and more importantly provide fresh fish.

Quality has gone down so much. Spicy tuna crispy rice used to have a decent amount of tuna on top now the amount is minimal. Price has stayed the same and even increased and quality has gone down. What a shame.

Food was super fresh, large quantity for one, didn't finish but definitely will order again. Salmon was tastey. Good portion for price.
