My veggie sandwich on walnut wheat bread was REALLY good, full of avocado, swiss cheese, & grilled red bell pepper. The lobster bisque soup was OUT OF THIS WORLD. It's a little spendy, but worth every penny. I'll be back for more of both of these items.
Bravo, La Bou! You're every bit as delicious as I remember from years ago when I worked near one of your cafes. You make lunchtime such a pleasure. ❤❤❤

I ordered a breakfast Veggie Burrito, an Asian Noodle salad, and a Cinnamon nut croissant. The best part of the food was the Cinnamon nut croissant. It was very fresh and was yummy. My only complaint is that there were barely any nuts. It definitely needed more. I will be getting this again sometime! The veggie breakfast burrito was good but lacked flavor. It badly needed some salt and pepper. I've had better, but I've also had worse. The Asian Noodle salad was just ok. Without the chicken it consisted of noodles, lettuce, bean sprouts, and peanuts, with a tangy dressing. The peanuts were the best part. There was very little lettuce. It needed more. This dish was sort of bland and boring. So 4 stars for the croissant, 3.5 stars for the burrito, and 2.75 stars for the noodle salad. Overall, I would say 3.25 stars.

I worked at 12th & N street for 25 years, eating there weekly. The lunch I just spent $45.00 on was TERRIBLE! THE Asian Noodle Salad had NO dressing on it (just made?). The roast beefLes Baux Tri-tip sandwich had the biggest piece of thick fat I've ever seen on a sandwich. The Creamy Tomato Bisque was good but not great. of course that could be because my lunch and tonight's dinner were so awful. I'm sorry I was feeling a little nostalgic.

There was like no meat on my sandwich. All I could taste was Mayo. Disappointing when you pay 10+$ for a sandwich. Fruit cup is good size though.

love the Tuscan Turkey Panini combo with tomato soup. Soup consistency is on the thinner side, and perfect for the soft Whole Baguette they provide. I also didn't anticipate how LONG that baquette was gonna be, next time I can definitely order half when only for 1.
Tuscan Turkey Panini could've had more crunch on the bread. I did feel like it was a big "soggy" for lack of better wording, but I deeply appreciate the fresh peppers it comes with.
