First time ordering from this place, the Boudin Balls & Remoulade very tasty some of the best I've had since I've been here Yakamein was really good and not to spicy I got mild but still had a kick. I feel like my portions would've been bigger if I ate in for $30.00 not including tip. Do you think it was worth it from the picture?

The flavor was non existent. Just an unbearable heat. The crawfish were not fresh. But the shrimp were cooked well. It's like an extreme spice with no flavor. The amount was good tho for the price but too bad I couldn't eat it.

Best Cajun food I've had in a long time.
Very spicy. Extremely flavorful.
The shrimp and corn were particularly delicious.
The whole thing was soaked in spices and flavor.
I got ramen instead of rice; the ramen/rice is packaged separately, and you mix them together yourself. But everything besides the ramen/rice is totally soaked in spices.
I just mix it all together and let the noodles absorb the flavor for a minute or two.
The spiciness was perfect. It was enough to make my buddies go "Phew!" from across the room, but the heat didn't drown out the flavors.
I added an egg to my dish, it was also soaked in the juices of the cajun shrimp.
Make sure to ask for gloves.

The boiled crawfish were so good! They were also a decent size for it to be so early in the season. I tried this place on a whim and I'm so glad I did! Some of the best Louisiana style crawfish I've had in Houston. The flavor is in the tails and the heads, not on the shell, however I'm sure you can get that too.

The French Quarter Shrimp was EXTREMELY spicy!! I forced myself to eat it because I paid for it but I couldn't finish it due to the spicyness. The portion was good for the price and it was fresh. I would order again but at a very small level of spice. I can't imagine what the extra spicy is like!
