One of my absolute favorite places in LA - Liu's Cafe. Highly highly recommend the Braised Pork Belly Rice. The pork is so incredibly tende and flavorful over a bed of white rice with a side of pickles. The chili oil on the side is the perfect pairing. The Jasmine Passionfruit Ice Tea is incredibly refreshing and the perfect amount of sweetness. And of course, the buns!! The matcha and pineapple buns are absolutely perfect.

Liu's never misses! Always consistent in their flavors, Liu's Hong Kong style/ Taiwanese comfort food is great for any occasion. I love their dan dan noodles and minced pork rice in particular. the serving sizes aren't the largest but it fits the price and is perfect if you want to family style it w a group of people!

Liu's Cafe is great. Yummy food with good portion size at a fair price. I always get the Braised Pork Belly Rice, and it comes fresh and hot. Don't forget to add the Cheddar & Scallion Biscuit, which came warm and toasty. The pineapple bun is also a delicious add-on!

This was incredible. The hype is real. The Braised Pork Belly Rice is the perfect size for a light meal (it is what you'd expect for $9 of food), and the Cheddar & Scallion Biscuit was so freaking good, it had a small side of whipped butter and it came with a knife. It was a small biscuit, but that's okay!! I would eat like 10 of these if I could... one of the best savory biscuits I've had in a while.

The Chiayi Chicken Rice bowl is one of my favorite meals! It is a great portion size. The chicken skin & daikon are literally cherries on top
